International
International Women’s Podcast Festival
Founded in 2019, Content is Queen (CiQ) is a podcast production company on a mission to change how society connects through storytelling. Since day one, we have amplified minority voices and championed inclusive narratives, grounded in our belief that audio storytelling has the power to shape how we understand each other and the world around us.
Our guiding principle is simple: “Inclusion is a process, not an outcome and your participation is essential.”
With over five years of experience in the podcast industry, we’ve built a thriving community of audio experts who can support every stage of your podcast journey. Whether you’re launching your first show, evolving an existing format, or creating a standout branded podcast that builds meaningful audience engagement.
Content is Queen is also the home of the International Women’s Podcast Festival in partnership with Spotify, a bi-annual event that unites the global community of female innovators and leaders in podcasting, audio and radio.

THE ECCO – initiative for audio creators
An international non-commercial initiative and program designed to tug at the boundaries of the world of audio storytelling, journalism, and documentary work. We bring together talents in different parts of the world — journalists, sound designers, audio producers, sound artists, & writers, and everyone who's every dabbled in telling a story in audio — all united by a common goal: to push themselves and each other out of their work-related comfort zones and explore the different shapes audio documentaries can take, where they may intersect with art and what impact this kind of playful exploration can have.
Every round i.e. every edition of THE ECCO lasts around 6 months. And at the heart of each edition is a retreat for creators. The people taking part in these (mostly) self-funded retreats are curated based on a diversity of factors. In an effort to be as representative as possible, we brings together audio creators in this immersive program that starts with an idea and ends with a finished short piece.
Anyone (yes, we mean it: ANYONE (!) ) can apply to be part of a cohort and/or submit their pieces to ongoing calls for audio. That includes audio creators, journalists, reporters, podcast producers, and sound designers, as much as chefs, teachers, musicians, or IT experts. All we ask is that you have create at least one (but preferably more) non-conversational audio piece before. If you've ever made anything that is not a straightforward conversation, you can apply.

More and more people are creating audio content, more and more people are listening to podcasts. What is left for radio? Inspiration?
Slovenian podcasts will come alive on the stage of Cukrarna. It is a large space, certainly large enough for discussion. How can we still tell stories with sound? How can we appeal to young people? How can we remain relevant in a universe of media content? What is the future of radio in the car?
